Infrastructure Business Growth Pty Ltd in Sydney NSW seeks an experienced Quality Manager to oversee quality assurance and compliance on a major transport infrastructure project in Western Sydney. The role starts office-based during mobilisation and moves to site leadership.

You will establish and manage the Quality Management System, lead quality personnel and subcontractor teams, ensure TfNSW specifications and ISO standards are met, and drive continuous improvement.

Formación

• At least 5 years' experience as Quality Manager on major civil, road, rail or transport infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of TfNSW specifications, compliance requirements and assurance processes.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification is essential; ISO 14001/45001 are advantageous.
• Experience leading quality teams, ITPs, audits, surveillance activities and NCRs.

We are working with a leading Australian civil infrastructure contractor seeking an experienced Quality Manager to oversee quality assurance and compliance on a major transport infrastructure project in Western Sydney.

Indigenous Business Growth (IBG) is a majority Indigenous owned recruitment business registered with Supply Nation, specialising in civil engineering, infrastructure, construction and major project recruitment. We partner closely with contractors, engineering consultancies and delivery organisations to place high quality technical professionals. Our approach is relationship led and commercially grounded, built on practical industry experience and a clear understanding of how complex projects are delivered.

Initially office-based in Sydney during project mobilisation, the successful candidate will transition into a site-based leadership role. Reporting to the Project Leadership Team, the Quality Manager will establish and manage the project's Quality Management System, lead quality personnel and ensure compliance with Transport for NSW specifications, contractual requirements and ISO standards.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Quality Manager on major civil, road, rail or transport infrastructure projects.
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience implementing and managing quality systems from mobilisation through construction delivery.
• Strong working knowledge of TfNSW specifications, compliance requirements and assurance processes.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification essential, with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 highly regarded.
• Experience preparing and managing Quality Management Plans, ITPs, audits, surveillance activities and non-conformance reports.
• Proven leadership of project quality teams, subcontractor quality management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ideal Candidate:

A hands-on Quality Manager with a strong Tier 1 or Tier 2 civil construction background, demonstrated TfNSW project experience and the ability to establish and lead quality systems on a major road infrastructure project.
