Job summary

Talent Quarter is seeking a Quality Manager to coordinate clinical KPI’s, quality care standards, compliance and education programs across 3 aged care homes in the Newcastle region.

The role focuses on implementing best-practice frameworks, conducting audits, and driving improvements through data-driven reporting and staff education. Strong leadership and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of Aged Care regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Experience in research, analysis and advising on best practices.
• Ability to work independently with strong leadership.
• Solid understanding of project management principles and quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Implement innovative, best-practice frameworks across aged care services; conduct compliance reviews and gap analyses.
• Provide project data and information for corporate reporting purposes.
• Provide education and training for employees in compliance, quality & risk systems and processes.
• Audit processes to support continuous improvement of the organisation’s project management capability.
• Prepare project reports that identify issues, objectives and recommendations.

About the Aged Care provider:

This trusted and well-known Aged Care provider has multiple residential aged care homes situated throughout the Newcastle region with support from the National Head Office based in Sydney that focus on delivering high-quality support to all their staff in facilities.

About the role:

This Quality Manager will be responsible for the provision and co-ordination of clinical KPI’s, quality care standards, compliance and education programs across 3 x aged care residential homes based in the Newcastle region that meets the individual needs of the residents and management of the clinical care staff team.

Duties:

• Implementing innovative, best practice frameworks across aged care services, including conducting compliance reviews and gap analyses
• Provide project data and information for corporate reporting purposes.
• Provide education and training for employees in compliance, quality & risk systems and processes.
• Audits are completed and contribute to the continuous improvement of the organisation’s project management capability
• Project reports clearly identify issues, objectives and suggestions for improvements

Skills and experience:

• Good knowledge of Aged Care regulatory requirements
• Great communication skills and an ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
• Research, analysis, and advice on best practice and innovative models and frameworks
• Ability to work independently with strong leadership skills
• Strong knowledge of project management principles and quality management systems
