Job summary

Alsop Engineering Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing and engineering team at our Taren Point facility in NSW. This full-time role ensures the highest standards of product quality and regulatory compliance across our operations.

You will inspect, test and verify machined components and finished products, maintain inspection records, and support continuous improvement initiatives with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality inspection, CNC machining, precision engineering or related trade.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality management standards.
• Attention to detail and methodical testing approach.

Responsibilities

• Conducting detailed inspections of machined components using precision measurement tools.
• Performing quality control tests and documentation to verify design specifications.
• Identifying defects and reporting findings to production and management.
• Maintaining accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
• Collaborating with production, engineering and procurement to investigate issues.
• Operating and maintaining calibration of QC equipment.
• Conducting first-piece and in-process inspections.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
