Job summary

For Purpose Aged Care in Wallan is seeking an experienced Quality Coordinator to lead quality, compliance and clinical governance activities in a new residential aged care residence. The role focuses on accreditation, auditing and policy processes to ensure 100% compliance with Quality Standards.

The successful candidate will have AHPRA RN registration, 3+ years aged care experience in a Quality role, and strong leadership to educate and mentor clinical staff within a supportive, not-for-profit

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration (RN) mandatory.
• At least 3 years aged care experience, preferably in a Quality role.
• Demonstrated quality, compliance and clinical governance understanding.
• Sound knowledge of the Aged Care accreditation process.
• Excellent understanding of quality assurance and auditing processes.
• Must be able to easily learn new systems and technologies.
• Continuous improvement, gap and risk analysis experience would be an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
• Be able to coordinate, educate and mentor the clinical staff.

This position presents an exciting opportunity to shape the service delivery of For Purpose Aged Care into the future during a period of significant change in the aged care sector.

We are looking for an experienced Quality Coordinator to assist in the process of continuous improvement in keeping with the intent of the Aged Care Standards and associated requirements at our new residential aged care residence.

You must be able to demonstrate your comprehensive knowledge of the aged care sector to be able to assist our homes with compliance and policy protocols, accreditation, auditing, and processes to achieve 100% compliance within the Quality Standards.

Skills & Experience Required

• AHPRA registration (RN) Mandatory
