Job summary

Premier Fresh Australia is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to coordinate inbound and outbound activities, align with production teams, and support quality assurance and compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing site.

The role starts early with a 7:30am shift, offering variety across transport bookings, documentation, audits, and continuous improvement. Build strong relationships with suppliers and customers while upholding food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, supply chain, quality or compliance roles.
• Exposure to food manufacturing, FMCG environments.
• Knowledge of QA, food safety or compliance processes.
• Experience coordinating transport and logistics documentation.
• Strong admin, organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong computer skills across systems and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers and transport partners to ensure operational requirements are met.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across logistics, quality, food safety and compliance.
• Assist in driving a strong culture of quality, food safety and operational excellence.

About the Role

This is a diverse and hands-on role that plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth movement of product while maintaining the highest standards of quality, food safety and compliance.

As the Logistics Coordinator, you will work closely with operational teams, transport providers, suppliers and customers to coordinate logistics activities, manage compliance requirements and support the site's quality assurance systems.

No two days are the same, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role operates on an early morning schedule, with a 7:30am start.

What You'll Be Doing

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who is highly organised, proactive and comfortable working across both logistics coordination and quality compliance activities.

To be successful, you will bring:

• Experience in a Logistics, Supply Chain, Quality or Compliance role.
• Exposure to food manufacturing, food production, agriculture or FMCG environments.
• Knowledge of quality assurance, food safety or compliance processes.
• Experience coordinating transport, logistics documentation and order management activities.
• Strong administration, organisation and attention-to-detail skills.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.
• Strong computer skills and confidence working across systems, reporting and documentation.

Experience That Will Set You Apart

• Experience working within food manufacturing, fresh produce or FMCG environments.
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), HACCP or food safety systems.
• Experience supporting certification, audit or compliance processes.
• Understanding of DPI requirements and regulatory compliance obligations.
