LP Commercial Photography is seeking a Quality Control Analyst to support day-to-day production in a raw materials business at Horsley Park, Sydney. The role involves inspection, sampling, testing, and release of materials, plus QA duties to ensure GMP/GLP compliance.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 7.00am–3.00pm. Pay is AU$37.50 per hour, inclusive of casual loading. Commencement ASAP. Previous lab testing or QC experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Science or related discipline.
• Experience with laboratory testing and raw material quality control (not compulsory).

Responsabilités

• Conduct inspection, sampling, testing and release of incoming raw materials and packaging materials.
• Maintain retained and reference samples in a controlled system.
• Review supplier Certificates of Analysis and investigate quality issues.
• Conduct laboratory testing according to approved methods and document results.
• Communicate out-of-specification results and participate in OOS investigations.
• Authorise release of finished goods for dispatch where applicable.
• Conduct in-process and finished product sampling for microbiological testing.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
• Maintain laboratory housekeeping and comply with GLP.
• Assist with customer complaint investigations.
• Support internal, external and customer audits.
• Participate in HACCP activities and quality system reviews.
• Assist with GMP, quality and competency training.
• Conduct GMP audits and follow up the corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with WHSE and OH&S requirements.
• Work collaboratively with Operations, Warehouse, Production, R&D and Quality teams.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Quality Manager.

Quality Control Analyst

We are currently seeking a motivated Quality Control Analyst to support the day to day production needs of a raw materials business. The position is responsible for raw material and packaging inspections, laboratory testing, product release activities, quality compliance, HACCP participation, GMP/GLP compliance, audit support and continuous quality improvement.
