Job summary

Kilcoy Global Foods is seeking experienced Quality Assurance Officers to join our Kilcoy team, ensuring consistent delivery of premium beef, lamb and protein products to customers in over 50 countries.

You will monitor QA practices, drive corrective actions, and support food safety, HACCP audits and customer inquiries. The 3-on/3-off and 4-on/4-off roster supports a strong work-life balance, with opportunities for career progression within the Quality group.

Qualifications

• HACCP qualifications or equivalent.
• AusMeat specifications or equivalent quality qualifications.
• Experience in food manufacturing QA, preferably meat processing.
• Strong accountability and teamwork.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Attention to detail and good time management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operations conform to food safety regulations and Quality Systems requirements in partnership with Production.
• Document control and report non-conformance and CARs within the Quality Management System.
• Support and implement key food safety requirements and quality outcomes.
• Undertake quality internal audits, HACCP enquiries, and respond to customer complaints.
• Ensure staff understand and comply with Quality Management System requirements.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Location: Kilcoy

We are seeking experienced Quality Assurance Officers to join our team and ensure the consistent delivery of quality products to KGF customers. The successful candidates will support the operational teams by assisting the business achieve its operational and strategic goals through monitoring effective QA practices identifying and providing corrective and preventative actions as required. Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Ensure operations conform to food safety regulations and Quality Systems requirements though partnering with Production.
• Document control and report on the non-conformance and Corrective Action Requirements (CAR's) within the parameters of the Quality Management System.
• Support and implement key food safety requirements and quality outcomes.
• Undertake quality internal audits, HACCP enquiries, and respond to any customer complaints.
• Ensure all staff are aware and comply with the necessary requirements of our Quality Management Systems.

ROSTER

Working our Lifestyle roster of 3 days on, 3 days off then 4 days on, 4 days off, that allows a great work/life balance.

ABOUT YOU

• Qualifications in HACCP, and AusMeat Specification Qualifications, or
• Quality assurance background in a food manufacturing environment, or
• Operational experience in a meat processing facility.
• A strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
• Commitment to company values, and food safety culture.
• Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Attention to detail, initiative, time management and follow through.
