Job summary

Kilcoy Global Foods is seeking a Continuous Improvement Lead to drive efficiency, productivity and quality across our Australian operations. You will analyse processes, lead CI projects, and collaborate with Operations, Quality, Procurement and Supply Chain teams to deliver measurable improvements.

You'll develop and deliver training on CI tools, use 5 Whys and Fishbone diagrams, and design SOPs to standardise best practices while reducing energy use and waste.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a continuous improvement role within the food manufacturing industry.
• Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, D365 and AX is preferable.
• Knowledge of developing BI reports and conducting analysis.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement process improvements using CI and TPM methodologies to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Develop and execute strategies to integrate continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
• Design and deliver training programs on CI tools, mentoring teams to identify inefficiencies and implement small-scale improvements.
• Use tools like 5 Whys and Fishbone diagrams to address recurring operational issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Lead CI projects from planning to execution, managing timelines, resources and stakeholder engagement.
• Work with Operations, Quality, Procurement and Supply Chain teams to align CI projects with business priorities.
• Optimise processes to reduce environmental impact, improve energy efficiency, and integrate sustainability into CI initiatives.
• Analyse operational data, track performance metrics, and use insights to drive process improvements.
• Develop and update SOPs to ensure consistency, efficiency and adoption of best practices.
• Establish KPIs, monitor project success, and refine strategies based on feedback and results.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL

You will be a goal-oriented and self-motivated professional with a hands-on approach to problem-solving, adept at managing long-term continuous improvement projects. Proficient in analysing performance data, conducting root cause analysis, and leveraging key metrics to identify inefficiencies. Skilled in using data-driven insights to support decision-making and ensure measurable improvements. Able to multitask effectively while maintaining reliability and focus on achieving operational excellence.

You will bring with you:
