Job summary

FinXL IT Professional Services in Sydney, NSW is seeking a Quality Assurance / IT Tester to join the team on a full-time, on-site basis in the CBD. The role supports a large data transformation project and involves validating designs, executing tests and reporting findings to development teams.

You will prepare test plans, lead testing efforts and mentor junior staff while ensuring quality across the delivery cycle.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a similar role.
• Understanding of Banking is desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, sequence, track and report project status and outcomes.

We are seeking an Quality Assurance /IT Tester to join our team full time who will be working on‑site in the CBD of Sydney. This role is working over a large data transformation project.

Salary will be between $80,000.00 and $100,000.00 per annum, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Assessing the quality of technical design documents in order to ensure timely, relevant and meaningful feedback
• Conducting testing throughout the development process, identifying potential issues and reporting them back to development teams
• Preparing (incl. test estimations), reviewing and executing Test Plans and strategies
• Leading and mentoring team members and driving quality output

Technical skill set

Experience Required

• At least 2 years' experience in a similar role
• Demonstrated process to plan, sequence, track, and report project status and outcomes
• Understanding of Banking is desirable
