Job summary

FinXL Professional Services is seeking an IT Tester/QA to join our team onsite in Sydney CBD for a large data transformation project. You will assess QA aspects, conduct testing through development, and prepare test plans while mentoring teammates to deliver quality output.

We require a Bachelor in IT (preferred) and a minimum of 2 years in a similar role, with strong communication skills and an understanding of banking being desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in IT preferred.
• At least 2 years experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated process to plan, sequence, track, and report project status and outcomes.
• Understanding of Banking is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assessing the quality of technical design documents to provide feedback.
• Conducting testing throughout the development process and reporting issues to development teams.
• Preparing, reviewing and executing Test Plans and strategies (incl. test estimations).
• Leading and mentoring team members and driving quality output.

Responsibilities:

• Assessing the quality of technical design documents in order to ensure timely, relevant and meaningful feedback
• Conducting testing throughout the development process, identifying potential issues and reporting them back to development teams
• Preparing (incl. test estimations),reviewing and executing Test Plans and strategies
• Leading and mentoring team members and driving quality output

Technical skillset

• Data Warehousing Experience
• API Automation skills
• Agile project experience

You will have:

• Bachelor degree in IT preferred
• At least 2 years experience in a similar role
• Demonstrated process to plan, sequence, track, and report project status and outcomes
