Job summary

FinXL is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Test Engineer to lead automated testing for a major data pipeline project within a Banking & Finance client. The role is based from Sydney or Brisbane on a hybrid model, with visa sponsorship available.

You will design and maintain automated test scripts, validate ETL processes and analytics solutions, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring data accuracy across platforms and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years of commercial experience in QA as a technical test engineer.
• Solid technical background beyond functional testing.
• Experience testing in a data-centric environment, preferably data warehousing.
• Hands-on experience with GCP technologies such as BigQuery.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated test frameworks.
• Familiarity with agile tools and environments, including Jira.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

FinXL is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Test Engineer to join our Banking and Finance consulting practice. In this engagement, you will become a key member of our team and be deployed with an Enterprise Banking organisation on a high-profile transformation project. This position can be based from either of the following cities: Sydney, Brisbane (Hybrid). FinXL is also able to take over existing visas and provide sponsorship for consultants.

Responsibility
