Job summary

FinXL Professional Services, based in Melbourne, is seeking a Quality Assurance / IT Tester to join our on-site team in the CBD. The role supports a large data transformation project, with testing across the development lifecycle and feedback to drive quality.

The ideal candidate will have a IT-related degree, a minimum of 2 years in a similar role, and experience with ETL, data warehousing, API automation and Agile projects, plus strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in IT preferred.
• At least 2 years experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated process to plan, sequence, track, and report project status and outcomes.
• Understanding of Banking is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assessing the quality of technical design documents to provide feedback.
• Conducting testing throughout the development process and reporting issues to development teams.
• Preparing tests (incl. estimations), reviewing and executing Test Plans and strategies.
• Leading and mentoring team members and driving quality output.
