Job summary

Perpetual Corporate Trust is seeking a Quality Assurance Associate for a 12‑month max-term contract. The role focuses on QA reviews, supporting compliance enquiries, and strengthening data governance within Document Custody across Australia.

You will work with clients and financial institutions, contribute to data and vendor governance, and help improve processes and service delivery. This position demands meticulous attention to detail and strong governance capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality assurance in a regulated environment.
• Experience in operational processing and client service.
• Understanding of mortgage documentation.
• Mortgage due diligence or mortgage loan quality control experience.
• Organised with ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong problem solving, attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and relationship skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information and train colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Complete monthly quality reviews of incoming security documents for clients.
• Review work by new team members during verification and data entry training.
• Coordinate security document packets required for client securitisation audits.
• Respond to investigation, complaint and legal notice enquiries, including client follow-up.
• Maintain policies, procedures, operational risk controls and assigned control testing.
• Complete data reconciliations and maintain accurate records within Content Manager.
• Support vendor governance and identify operational trends, issues and improvement opportunities.
