Job summary

VMCH in Victoria is seeking a Quality Advisor within Care at Home to strengthen quality, safety, compliance and continuous improvement across the division. You will partner with operational leaders to translate regulatory requirements into practical solutions that improve outcomes for older Australians.

As a trusted advisor, you will balance regulatory knowledge with operational know-how and commercial awareness, supporting accreditation activities and service delivery excellence across VMCH's

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration as an RN.
• Experience in quality, compliance or management within Support at Home, aged care or community services.
• Knowledge of aged care regulatory frameworks, quality systems, risk management and compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting accreditation, certification, audit activities and continuous improvement initiatives

• Provide expert guidance on aged care standards, legislation and best practice.
• Promote a culture where compliance is viewed as an enabler of high-quality service delivery rather than a standalone function.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and influence positive change across the organisation.

The Position

As a Quality Advisor at VMCH, you will partner closely with Care at Home operational leaders to strengthen quality, safety, compliance and continuous improvement across the division. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will provide practical, evidence-based advice that supports quality outcomes, regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness.

Success in this role requires a balanced approach that combines strong regulatory knowledge with operational understanding and commercial awareness, ensuring compliance is embedded as an enabler of high-quality service delivery.

What's Required

• Experience in quality, compliance or management within Support at Home, aged care or community services
• Knowledge of aged care regulatory frameworks, quality systems, risk management and compliance requirements
• Experience supporting accreditation, certification, audit activities and continuous improvement initiatives
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to translate legislative requirements into practical operational solutions
• Strong commercial and operational awareness, with the ability to balance compliance requirements with service delivery outcomes.
• Current Victorian Driver Licence.
