Job summary

The Bethanie Group is seeking an experienced Qualified Support Worker to provide home care services across the Upper South Metro area, from Fremantle to Harrisdale and Victoria Park.

This permanent part-time role requires a minimum of 20 hours per week, with shifts 8am–4pm, Monday to Friday. You will need a current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle, be willing to obtain vaccinations, and hold a National Police Clearance. Travel allowance applies.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care or community care
• Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations
• Hold a current driver’s licence and have access to a reliable vehicle
• Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to apply for one)

Responsibilities

• Deliver services including food preparation, cleaning and laundry, personal care and supporting hobbies and leisure activities
• Ensure living areas of clients’ homes are kept clean, tidy and safe from hazards
• Document personal care tasks and outcomes
• Support clients with transport to appointments
• Provide social support by spending time doing activities clients love
• Prioritise a personal connection with clients with respect and compassion

We are currently seeking an experienced QualifiedSupport Worker to provide services in the Upper South Metro area,in suburbs from Fremantle to Atwell, across to Harrisdale and up toVictoria Park.

To be successful in this role, you must be available to committo:

• Permanent part-time employment, working a minimumof 20 hours per week
• Shifts between the hours of 8am – 4pm across Mondayto Friday

As you will be required to use your own car in this role, weoffer a travel allowance per kilometre.

About You

• Previous experience working in an aged care or communitycare environment
• Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations
• Hold a current driver’s licence and have access to areliable vehicle
• Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to applyfor one)
