Job summary

The Bethanie Group is seeking a Relief Qualified Support Worker to provide in-home care across the South Metro area, from South Perth to Mandurah. This role supports clients with daily living activities, personal care, and social engagement, ensuring continuity of care while covering leave and new clients.

Eligible candidates should have prior aged care or community care experience, a current driver’s licence, and be able to work flexible hours including the 8am–4pm window, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care or community care settings is required.
• Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations is preferred.
• Hold a current driver’s licence and be prepared for police clearance if required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home support including personal care, domestic tasks, and meal prep.
• Keep living areas clean, tidy and safe for clients.
• Document care tasks and outcomes accurately.
• Provide transportation support for appointments.

Bethanie Home Care offer a variety of services to ageingAustralians, allowing them to live independently in their own homesthroughout Perth, Geraldton and in the South West.

We provide support with day-to-day living including personalcare, domestic assistance and gardening services, as well asrespite services and social support.

We are currently seeking a Relief Qualified SupportWorker to provide services across the entire South Metro area, fromSouth Perth to Mandurah.

You will be ensuring continuity of care across our Home CareSouth Metro services by providing flexible support where it isneeded covering leave and new clients.

To be successful in this role, you must be available tocommit to:

• Permanent part-time employment, working a minimumof 30 hours per week
• Plenty of work if you are available between thehours of 8am – 4pm Monday to Friday.
• Driving throughout the South Metro deliveringin-home support to many and varied clients.

Access to a Bethanie fleet vehicle will be provided for thisrole.

About You

• Previous experience working in an aged care or communitycare environment
• Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations
• Hold a current driver’s licence.
• Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to applyfor one)

The Role

• Professionally deliver a variety of services including foodpreparation, cleaning and laundry services, personal care, aswell as supporting hobbies, interests and leisureactivities
• Ensure all living areas of clients’ homes are kept clean,tidy and safe from hazards
• Ensure all personal care tasks and outcomes are met anddocumented appropriately
• Support clients with transport to appointments
• Provide social support to clients by spending time doingthe things they love
• Prioritise a personal connection with clients, ensuringrespect and compassion is shown at all time
