BallyCara is seeking a warm, caring Qualified Support Worker to join our Melbourne team and support older people in their own homes across Melbourne's northern suburbs.

We value relationships, person-centred care, and community connections, offering a supportive, not-for-profit environment with opportunities for growth and flexible shifts in a casual/part-time structure.

Formación

• Certificate III in Ageing or equivalent is required.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification is required.
• National Police Check is required (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal care and support to older people in their own homes.
• Assist with daily activities and accompany clients as needed.
• Engage with clients to promote independence and wellbeing.
• Maintain respectful, person-centred care and document observations.

We're looking for a warm, caring and reliable Qualified Support Worker to join the BallyCara Melbourne Team and support older people in their own homes across Melbourne's northern suburbs.

Where will you make a difference?

You’ll be supporting clients across (not limited to):

• Bundoora
• Thomastown
• Craigieburn
• Fawkner

Every day brings something different, whether it's helping with personal care, supporting everyday activities or simply taking the time to have a friendly conversation and make someone smile.

Desired Skills and Experience

When can you work?

We're looking for someone with:

• Availability across Monday to Friday.
• Availability between 8.00am and 4.00pm.
• A flexible approach to picking up additional shifts when opportunities arise.

We have casual and permanent part-time employment for the right candidates.

What we're looking for

We’d love to hear from someone who:

• Has a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualification.
• Has experience supporting older people in aged care or community settings.
• Enjoys getting to know people and building genuine connections.
• Is compassionate, patient, dependable and happy to lend a hand.
• Takes pride in providing respectful, person-centred care.
• Can work independently while being part of a supportive team.
• Current Driver's Licence
• Reliable registered and comprehensively insured vehicle
• Current First Aid and CPR
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)
