Job summary

Rentokil Initial is seeking a Pest Control Technician to service the Darwin area. The role involves performing pest control for diverse customers, managing scheduled work, and engaging with clients to confirm requirements and visits.

You will support local builders and remote communities, promote the Rentokil brand, and identify potential sales leads while demonstrating attention to detail and strong time management. A valid pest licence and driver's licence are essential.

Qualifications

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a great attitude to join our team on a full-time basis and service the Darwin area.

As a Pest Control Technician, you will service our Pre-Construction and Termites customers. You will also support the local builders in town and in remote communities

Your role will entail (but not be limited to):

• Carry out pest control work for a range of customers
• Manage scheduled work, on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Customer engagement to validate requirements or re-confirming visits
• Enhance the Rentokil brand through developing meaningful and collaborative relationships with our customers and role model these behaviours
• Assist with identifying sales leads for the region
• Ability to show attention to detail and strong time management skills

Requirements:

• Pest licence
• Australian Manual Drivers licence
• Ability to travel to remote areas, while servicing customers
• Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as numeracy skills
• Ability to work autonomously
