Rentokil Initial is seeking a Pest Control Technician to service residential and pre-construction sites around the Perth area. You’ll work independently, applying pest control methods and loyalty to client satisfaction while maintaining equipment and vehicle standards.

The role requires a valid Australian driver’s licence, ability to pass pre-employment checks, and a proactive, safety-conscious approach. Training and progression opportunities are available within a global leader in pest control.

Qualifications

• Inspect buildings and surrounding environment for signs of pest infestation.
• Determine the type of treatment needed to eliminate pests.
• Design and carry out a pest management plan.
• Apply pest control methods such as traps or baits in infested areas.
• Pre-construction duties.
• Drive a vehicle equipped with power spraying equipment.

Key responsibilities:

At Rentokil Initial, we take care of the training, but what we do need from you is:

• Valid Australian driver’s licence
• As part of the recruitment process, you will be required to complete pre-employment medical, references and police checks

• Experience working independently to achieve set targets
• Ability to communicate to internal stakeholders and clients both verbally and in writing
• Confident using a mobile phone service app/tablet
• Manage, maintain and build upon client relationships
