Job summary

Rentokil Initial is seeking a Pest Control Technician to service the Darwin area. The role involves performing pest control for diverse customers, managing scheduled work, and engaging with clients to confirm requirements and visits.

You will support local builders and remote communities, promote the Rentokil brand, and identify potential sales leads while demonstrating attention to detail and strong time management. A valid pest licence and driver's licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Pest licence required.
• Australian Manual Driver's Licence.
• Willingness to travel to remote areas.
• Strong verbal and written communication and numeracy skills.
• Ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pest control work for a range of customers.
• Manage scheduled work, on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Customer engagement to validate requirements or re-confirming visits.
• Enhance the Rentokil brand through developing meaningful and collaborative relationships with our customers and role model these behaviours.
• Assist with identifying sales leads for the region.
• Attention to detail and time management skills.
