Job summary

Rentokil Initial is seeking a Pest Control Technician to service pre-construction sites and residential/commercial clients around the Perth area. The role focuses on autonomous problem solving, field pest control, and building strong client relationships.

A company van is provided, along with training and progression opportunities. Applicants must hold a valid Australian driver’s licence, be able to pass pre-employment checks, and demonstrate experience working independently while communicating

Qualifications

• Experience working independently to achieve set targets.
• Ability to communicate to internal stakeholders and clients both verbally and in writing.
• Confident using a mobile phone service app/tablet.
• Manage, maintain and build upon client relationships.
• Valid Australian driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings and the surrounding environment for signs of pest infestation or pests.
• Determine the type of treatment needed to eliminate the pests.
• Design and carry out a pest management plan.
• Apply suitable pest control methods such as setting of traps or baits to infested areas.
• Pre-construction work.
• Drive Vehicles equipped with power spraying equipment.

• As part of the recruitment process, you will be required to complete pre-employment medical, references and police checks
