Job summary

Rentokil Initial is seeking a Pest Control Technician to service the Alice Springs area on a full-time, permanent basis. You will work with commercial and residential customers to keep premises pest-free and process scheduled visits with attention to detail and strong time management.

You will travel to remote areas as needed, hold a pest licence and a valid Australian Driver's Licence, and represent Rentokil Initial with professionalism and customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Pest licence is required to perform pest control work.
• Driver's licence is required to travel to customer sites and remote areas.
• Ability to travel to remote areas while servicing customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and numeracy.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage schedules.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pest control work for a range of customers.
• Manage scheduled work on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Engage with customers to validate requirements or reconfirm visits.
• Develop relationships with customers and uphold the Rentokil brand.
• Identify sales leads for the region and demonstrate attention to detail and time management.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a great attitude to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis to service all around the Alice Springs area.

As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for working with commercial and residential customers to keep their premises pest-free.

Your role will entail (but not be limited to):

• Carry out pest control work for a range of customers
• Manage scheduled work, on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Customer engagement to validate requirements or re-confirming visits
• Enhance the Rentokil brand through developing meaningful and collaborative relationships with our customers and role model these behaviours
• Assist with identifying sales leads for the region
• Ability to show attention to detail and strong time management skills

Requirements:

• Pest licence
• Australian Manual Drivers licence
• Ability to travel to remote areas, while servicing customers
• Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as numeracy skills
• Ability to work autonomously
