Job summary

GV Painting Group in Nagambie is seeking a full-time painter or subcontractor to join our expanding team on commercial projects around the Shepparton area. You will handle preparation, painting and finishing of interior and exterior surfaces, keep work areas clean and safe, and identify and fix defects to ensure a high-quality finish.

Ideal candidates have a Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (or equivalent), at least 2 years of experience, knowledge of OH&S, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (or equivalent)
• 2+ years’ experience in residential and/or commercial painting
• Good knowledge of painting techniques, materials and OH&S standards

Responsibilities

• Preparation, painting and finishing of interior surfaces
• Preparation and finishing of exterior surfaces
• Maintaining clean and safe work areas
• Detecting and correcting defects to ensure a high-quality finish

About the Role

• Full-time position in a fast-paced environment
• Commercial painting project in based in Nagambie and work around the Shepparton area.
• Preparation, painting, and finishing of interior and exterior surfaces
• Ensuring work areas are clean and safe
• Detecting and correcting defects to ensure a high-quality finish

What We’re Looking For

• Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (or equivalent qualification)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential and/or commercial painting
• Thorough knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and OH&S standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Current driver’s licence and own transport.
