Qualifications

• Recognised motor mechanic qualification or apprenticeship completed.
• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and testing tools.
• Strong knowledge of engines, transmissions, electrical, braking and suspension systems.
• Ability to diagnose faults and communicate repair needs to customers clearly.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle faults and identify mechanical issues accurately.
• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, filters, and brake inspections.
• Repair engines, transmissions, suspension, and electrical components.
• Conduct safety checks and wheel alignment, balancing, and tyre fitting as needed.
• Prepare accurate quotations and document all work performed.
• Maintain clean, safe workshop and adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Communicate repair recommendations clearly to customers.
