A Few Good Men Pty Ltd is a Canberra landscape construction company seeking an experienced, hands-on landscaper who can also drive our MR truck and operate a bobcat and excavator. The role covers residential landscapes and school/preschool packages.

Responsibilities include concreting, paving, walls, and irrigation, with a path to running your own crew as the team grows. Base in Campbell, with occasional regional travel.

Qualifikationen

• Cert III in Landscape Construction or 3+ years in landscape construction.
• MR licence required.
• Excavator and skid steer tickets or VOC.
• White Card, asbestos and silica awareness.

A Few Good Men is a Canberra landscape construction company. We build quality residential landscapes across Canberra, and outdoor play and landscape packages for schools and preschools.

One of our qualified landscapers is moving on in December. We need an experienced, hands-on landscaper who can also drive our MR truck and run a bobcat and excavator.

What you’ll be doing

Concrete paths, slabs and edging

Paving, retaining walls, fencing, decking and timber seating

Turf, garden beds, planting and irrigation

Bobcat and excavator work: dig-outs, trenching and base prep

Driving the MR truck for materials and spoil

Setting out from drawings, alongside our senior landscaper

What you’ll need

Cert III in Landscape Construction, or 3+ years in landscape construction

MR licence

Excavator and skid steer tickets or VOC

White Card, plus asbestos and silica awareness

A reliable way to get to our base in Campbell each morning (we head to site together)

What we offer

$38–45/hr casual + super, depending on experience and tickets

Pay review at 3 months, and a pay rise when you move to permanent

Tickets and courses paid for long-term team members: plant tickets, HR licence, first aid, Cert IV

Crew bonus on commercial jobs delivered on time and defect-free

Mon–Fri, mostly around Canberra. Regional jobs are rare; if they happen, travel, accommodation and a daily allowance are paid

Work ute, tools, uniform and PPE provided

A small crew reporting straight to the director, with a clear step up to running your own crew as we grow
