Job summary

A Few Good Men in Canberra is seeking an experienced, hands-on landscaper who can also drive our MR truck and run a bobcat and excavator. The role covers concrete paths, paving, walls, turf, irrigation and site set-out from landscape drawings.

Requirements include Cert III in Landscape Construction (or 3+ years in the field), MR licence, excavator/bobcat tickets or VOC, White Card, and asbestos/silica awareness. Casual rate $35–40/hr with potential permanent move.

Qualifications

• Cert III in Landscape Construction, or at least 3 years in landscape construction.
• MR licence
• Excavator and skid steer tickets or VOC
• White Card, asbestos and silica awareness
• Reliable way to get to Campbell base and safe work habits

Responsibilities

• Concrete paths, slabs and edging: forming, pouring and finishing.
• Paving, retaining walls, fencing, timber seating and decking.
• Turf, garden beds, planting and irrigation.
• Running the bobcat and excavator for dig-outs, trenching and base prep.
• Driving the MR truck for materials and spoil.
• Setting out from landscape drawings, working alongside our senior landscaper.
