Geelong Transport Repairs in North Geelong is seeking a Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team. You’ll work across servicing, repairs and diagnostics, handling maintenance and warranty work for Kenworth, DAF and other trucks, with ongoing dealership training and development.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Mechanical Technology.
• 5+ years' experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic.
• Experience on Kenworth and DAF vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
• Willingness to train and continue learning in the Kenworth/DAF dealership environment.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, repairs and diagnostics on heavy vehicles.

The Role

We're looking for a mechanic who can step into a busy heavy vehicle workshop and contribute with confidence.

You’ll be working across servicing, repairs, diagnostics, maintenance & warranty work, with exposure to Kenworth, DAF, other truck brands, and trailers.

This is a hands-on role for someone who knows their trade, works well with others, and is willing to keep learning, including dealership training and development.

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Mechanical Technology
• 5+ years' experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic post apprenticeship
• Experience working on Kenworth and DAF vehicles
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
• Quality workmanship and pride in doing the job properly
• Ability to work well within a team
• Willingness to train and continue learning in the Kenworth/DAF dealership environment

• Experience working on other heavy vehicle brands and trailers
• A direct, honest, team-first attitude
• Respect for safety, process, and workshop standards
• HC License
• AC License
