Job summary

Central Coast Group Training invites applications for a qualified Early Childhood Educator at Mountain Community Children’s Centre in Mangrove Mountain, NSW. This full-time position supports children aged 0–5, within a warm, community-based setting and a dedicated team committed to learning through play.

Includes 38 hours per week with RDOs; requires Certificate III or Diploma in ECE, 2+ years’ experience, current first aid and checks, and a valid driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Educator.
• Current HLTAID012 First Aid with at least 12 months remaining.
• Current Working With Children Check and Criminal History Check.
• Knowledge of NQF, EYLF, National Law and National Regulations.
• Driver’s licence and own transport are recommended due to location.

Responsibilities

• Support children aged 0–5 years with learning and development.

• Build positive relationships with children, families and staff.
• Support daily routines including meals, rest, and outdoor play.

What You're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and enjoys being part of a team.

To be considered, you will need:

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working as an Educator
• Current HLTAID012 Education and Care First Aid, with at least 12 months before expiry
• Current Working With Children Check
• Criminal History Check
• Knowledge of Child Safe Standards, Child Protection and Child Safe Code of Conduct
• Sound understanding of the NQF, EYLF, National Law and National Regulations
• Confidence using Microsoft programs such as Word and PowerPoint
• A positive attitude and willingness to show initiative
• Ability to work collaboratively with children, families and the educator team
• Driver’s licence and own transport, recommended due to the centre’s location and limited public transport

Experience in any education setting will be considered.
