Job summary

McIntosh Builders is seeking an experienced Qualified Carpenter to join our team in Cairns, QLD. You will contribute to residential and commercial projects, reading plans and applying construction codes on high-spec builds.

We value punctuality, strong work ethic, and the ability to work with experienced carpenters. Own tools and transport are required, and a current QLD driver's licence is essential.

Qualifications

  • Must have current QLD driver's licence.
  • Punctual, motivated and a good work ethic.
  • Experience in residential new builds, renovations and commercial work preferred, especially on custom, quality, designer homes and high-spec builds, or demonstrate willingness to develop these skills.
  • Carpenters must have their own tools and transport.
  • Read and interpret plans and a good understanding of construction codes and practices.
