Job summary

MIGAS Apprentices and Trainees is seeking Air-conditioning Installers for full-time roles in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, with the Head Office in Tingalpa. You will install and service commercial and residential systems for a growing company.

Applicants should have ducted and split system installation experience, read plans, use tools, and be prepared for physical work. A driver’s licence, White Card and Arctick licence are required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Air-conditioning & Refrigeration UEE32225 or equivalent.
• Minimum year 10 completion with good results in English and Mathematics.
• Driver's licence and Construction White Card (or willingness to obtain).
• Be safety-minded, well-presented and able to work autonomously or in a team.
• Arctick Licence.

Responsibilities

• Install air conditioning units in houses under construction, including high-wall splits and ducted systems.
• Read plans and technical drawings; work from measurements; use a wide range of tools.
• Work on residential and commercial projects; exposure to a variety of units.
• Maintain safety and quality on site; handle refrigerant materials when required.

These positions are full-time and available in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, with the Head Office based in Tingalpa.

Previous experience in the installation of ducted and split Air-conditioning systems required.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Installation of air conditioning units in houses under construction; high-wall splits, packaged units, split ducted and sheet metal ductwork.

• Have completed Certificate III in Air-conditioning & Refrigeration UEE32225 or equivalent.
• Have completed a minimum of year 10 with good results in English and Mathematics
• Have a driver's licence
