Job summary

Unison Solar Energy Pty Ltd is seeking a Quality Management System (QMS) & Compliance Engineer to lead development, implementation and ongoing improvement of our QMS and audit readiness across the business.

You will own document control, internal and external audits, compliance registers, and management reporting, partnering with operations and the laboratory to identify gaps and drive continual improvement in a fast-growing renewable energy company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Quality/Engineering/Compliance or a related field.
• Experience with QMS, document control, internal audits in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements for manufacturing.
• Experience handling CAPA, nonconformances, internal audits, management reviews and corrective actions.
• Proven ability to analyze and report quality metrics and improve procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continually improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Own document and records management, ensuring audit-readiness.
• Lead internal, customer, certification and compliance audits, coordinating preparation, evidence, findings and close-out.
• Drive nonconformity, deviation and corrective action processes.
• Champion certification, regulatory and audit readiness initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify quality gaps and drive improvements.
