Wilson Mining Pty Ltd. in Queensland seeks an experienced QLD Coordinator to oversee the coordination and delivery of specialist services across our QLD projects.

Reporting to the QLD Operations Coordinator, you will lead a small team underground, drive safety leadership, manage budgets and liaise with clients and stakeholders to understand and deliver requirements. This hands-on role requires a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and a commitment to quality, mateship and family values.

Qualifications

• Underground coal experience in a similar role.
• Proven leadership leading small teams to deliver results.
• Experience coordinating projects, managing a workforce, budgeting and reporting.
• Advocate for continuous improvement and high standards.
• Hands-on coordinator able to organise tasks with underground Supervisors.
• Strong client relationship management to understand and meet needs.
• Strong safety leadership ingrained from prior underground roles.
• Procurement experience in maintaining, ordering and stock auditing.
• Excellent communicator with operators, managers, clients and corporate teams.
• Supervisor certificates and a valid Driver’s licence.

Due to continued growth, we are now seeking experienced Coordinators to join the QLD team.

About the Opportunity:

Reporting to the QLD Operations Coordinator, working alongside a close-knit team, you will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of critical specialist services throughout our QLD Projects.

Working 7/7 even time roster!

About you:

Minimum skills and attributes we seek for our QLD Coordinators:

• Strong Underground Coal experience in a similar role;
• Demonstrated strong leadership, leading from the front, working closely with small teams to deliver excellent results;
• Demonstrated experience coordinating projects, managing a workforce, providing budget estimates and reporting to internal and external stakeholders;
• An advocate for continuous improvement and setting high standards of work;
• Hands on Coordinator who has the ability to organise and prioritise tasks with underground Supervisors, however, is also able to have a strong presence underground to lead crews when required;
• Strong exposure to managing and maintaining relationships with clients to understand and deliver their needs;
• Demonstrated strong safety leadership capability entrenched from your previous experiences underground;
• Strong procurement understanding in maintaining, ordering and auditing product and stock;
• Excellent communicator who is ready to strike up conversation with operators, managers, clients and corporate teams;
• Preferable to have experience in polymeric applications/ injections;
• Supervisor Certificates;
• Valid Driver’s licence.
