Job summary

Vawdrey is seeking an experienced QLD State Manager to own the Queensland operation, including sales, workshop performance, parts, customer relationships and profitability. This hands-on leader will drive growth and ensure safety and compliance across the branch.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years leading a branch or business unit in heavy vehicles or trailer manufacturing, with strong commercial acumen and proven P&L responsibility. A diesel/heavy vehicle trade qualification is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading a branch, region or business unit within heavy vehicles, transport equipment, trailer manufacturing, automotive OEM or servicing operations.
• Strong commercial and financial management capability.
• Proven leadership with direct P&L responsibility.
• Experience managing customer relationships and driving revenue growth.
• Experience leading workshop and operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the Queensland branch performance with complete P&L accountability.
• Oversee new and used trailer sales, workshop service, parts sales and inventory.
• Lead customer service, after-sales support and safety/compliance.
• Drive branch EBIT, profitability targets and market share growth.
• Build an engaged, high-performing team with coaching and accountability.
• Shape growth strategy across QLD with executive leadership support.
