Job summary

Evolve Scientific in Melbourne is seeking a QC Office to join our team for the afternoon shift (3pm-11pm). This casual contract offers full-time hours with potential to go permanent and an immediate start.

The role focuses on visual QC, GMP compliance, and documentation in a technical plastics environment that isn’t a traditional laboratory. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science or Engineering preferred.
• QC experience in food or plastics manufacturing required.
• Experience with injection moulding machines/products advantageous.
• Knowledge of GMP standards required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• High attention to detail and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production processes with routine QC testing and visual inspections of products.
• Maintain GMP standards within the production area.
• Review, update and write relevant documentation.
• Assist in resolving customer complaints.
• Data entry into Microsoft Excel and SAP.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders.

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Monitoring production processes through routine physical QC testing and visual inspections of products
• Ensuring GMP standards are maintained within the production area
• Reviewing, updating and writing relevant documentation
• Assist in resolving customer complaints
• Data entry into Microsoft Excel and SAP
• Liaising with the internal stakeholders

Skills/experience required:

• Tertiary education in Science or Engineering is ideal
• Previous QC experience in food or plastics manufacturing environment
• Previous experience with injection moulding machines/products is highly advantageous
• Good knowledge of GMP standards
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• High attention to detail and strong initiative
