Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology.

• Experience with QC operations, compliance and documentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritise and coordinate QC activities with production and stakeholders.
• Schedule internal and external lab testing for raw materials, bulk, finished product and stability testing.
• Perform testing of starting materials and finished products, including stability testing where required.
• Oversee analytical and instrumental troubleshooting to ensure timely resolution.
• Manage Out of Specification (OOS), Out of Trend (OOT) and deviation investigations; perform root cause analysis and CAPA actions.

Task & responsibilities Quality Control Operations Liaise with production personnel and other stakeholders to plan, prioritise, and coordinate QC activities. Prioritise and schedule internal and external laboratory testing requirements for raw materials, bulk, finished product, and stability testing. Perform testing of starting materials and finished products, including stability testing where required. Oversee analytical and instrumental troubleshooting, ensuring timely resolution. Compliance and Documentation Manage Out of Specification (OOS), Out of Trend (OOT), and deviation investigations; perform root cause analysis, identify corrective actions, and ensure CAPAs are completed in accordance with company procedures and within defined timeframes. Stability and Method Management Manage new laboratory projects including method development, method verification, and validation/re-validation activities. Continuous Improvement Support and participate in internal and external audits and regulatory inspections, including TGA inspections, ensuring timely closure of findings. People Management Train, supervise, and develop laboratory analysts and technicians. Financial and Administrative Responsibilities Monitor laboratory budgets, costs, and resource allocation.

Qualification & experience Bachelor Degree - Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology 4 to 5 years supervisory experience
