Job summary

Goodpeople HR seeks a QC Manager to lead the Quality Control department in a Pharmaceutical/Analytical Chemistry setting in Melbourne's South Eastern Suburbs. The role directs day-to-day laboratory operations and a 21-person team across three shifts within a TGA & GMP environment.

You will develop staff, drive quality across materials, bulk, packaging and finished goods, and collaborate with manufacturing, warehouse and purchasing to uphold regulatory and customer standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years with solid analytical laboratory, supervisory, and department management experience.
• Science Degree in Analytical Chemistry.
• Experience managing a 21-person team across 3 shifts.
• Exposure to TGA & GMP environments and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for quality control of raw materials.
• Oversee bulk product and materials QC.
• Ensure packaging and finished goods quality.
• Lead OOS investigations and troubleshooting.
