Job summary

Polaris Engineering Services is a heavy engineering and surface treatment provider serving mining, oil & gas and infrastructure sectors. The QA/QC Manager will liaise with client representatives to develop ITPs, MDRs, welding tractability, WPQRs and general quality requirements, and will manage QA/QC documentation for project needs.

You will mentor a QAQC assistant, produce daily/weekly/monthly progress reports, and contribute to project planning and pre-processing activities.

Qualifications

• Welding knowledge is required; applicants without welding experience should not apply.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills are essential for liaising with clients and team members.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment and manage QA/QC tasks under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

About the role

In a QAQC Managers role with Polaris (Engineering) Services you will –

Skills and experience

Possess an Engineering or relevant Degree in a related engineering discipline - Preferred

Welding knowledge is a must. Please do not apply if you do not have previous experience.

Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Competent in the use of Microsoft Office.

Ability to work well in a high-pressure environment.
