Job summary

Next Day Recruitment is seeking a QA/QC Coordinator for an established engineering business in Tumut, NSW. You will manage the quality management system across ISO 9001 and AS standards, with 5+ years in QA/QC and ISO compliance.

The role involves audits, corrective actions, project documentation, and ensuring traceability from drawings to MTCs. On offer is $90,000 to $120,000 base plus super, relocation assistance for the right candidate, and strong professional development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in QA/QC or quality systems management.
• Hands-on ISO 9001 audits and managing document control.
• Prior exposure to ISO structural steelwork compliance is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• System Management: Manage, audit, and continually improve the QMS across ISO 9001 and AS Standards.
• Audits & Compliance: Conduct internal audits, manage corrective actions, lead reviews, and handle external audit prep.
• Project Documentation: Develop project specific Quality Management Plans and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for workshop and site work.
• Traceability & Registers: Maintain traceability records and registers.
• Inspections: Coordinate in-process inspections, dimensional checks, and material traceability.
• Third Party Coordination: Coordinate third-party NDT (visual, UT, MT) and track passed versus repaired items.
• Handover: Compile Manufacturer's Data Records (MDRs) for client project handover.
