Job summary

Ertech in NSW is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead QA/QC across long-term construction projects and travel between Sydney-based sites.

You will manage quality assurance and control activities, ensure project requirements and standards are met, and work with project teams to embed a culture of quality and excellence on site. The role offers a full-time, on-site position with development and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in a Quality Engineer or similar role on construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil and electrical engineering scopes.
• Bachelor in Civil Engineering or similar (desirable) and relevant qualifications.
• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance and Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Project Manager and client on QA/QC matters, while leading a team of Quality Engineers.
• Produce Quality Management Plans, Work Packs, Inspection & Test Plans, and Check Sheets for site work.
• Ensure QA/QC surveillance and documentation meet project requirements and standards.
• Coordinate non-conformance actions with client and project teams to mitigate recurrence.
• Provide in-house training to project team members on quality documentation and surveillance activities.
• Ensure contractor's and vendor's quality records are compiled progressively throughout the works.
