Job summary

MPAU Manufacturing is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to ensure products meet the highest quality and food safety standards on the factory floor in Brisbane. You will work closely with production teams to conduct inspections, perform checks, and support continuous improvement programs.

Ideal candidates have QA experience in food manufacturing, knowledge of HACCP and GMP, and strong attention to detail. Immediate start and a six-week contract are on offer within a supportive, collaborative

Qualifications

• QA experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, bakery, or processing environments
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP and food safety systems
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent on-site communication and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct GMP and hygiene inspections across the site
• Perform quality checks and product verification activities
• Support HACCP, BRC and food safety programs
• Assist with internal audits and compliance activities
• Maintain accurate quality records and documentation
• Investigate non-conformances and support corrective actions
• Collaborate with production teams to drive quality outcomes
• Ensure food safety and quality standards are consistently achieved

Profile

Previous QA experience within food manufacturing, FMCG, bakery, or food processing environments

Knowledge of HACCP, GMP and food safety systems

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships on site

Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

Qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline is advantageous
