Job summary

BT Group in the UK is seeking a QA Engineer to help assure the quality and reliability of Mission Critical Services across complex environments. You will collaborate with software engineers and architects to ensure products meet demanding standards before reaching customers.

Qualifications

• Experience working within software and/or system integration testing, quality engineering or assurance environments.
• Understanding of testing principles, methodologies and quality assurance practices.
• Experience identifying, documenting and managing defects through to resolution.
• Ability to analyse problems, investigate issues and communicate findings effectively.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality outcomes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and engineering excellence.
• Eligibility and willingness to obtain and maintain DV security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute testing activities to deliver high-quality products and services.
• Create and maintain test environments, test cases and data across multiple tech environments.
• Identify, investigate and help resolve defects with engineering and delivery teams.
• Support integration, regression, functional and non-functional testing throughout the lifecycle.
• Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assess risks to quality and service performance and propose mitigations.
• Communicate testing outcomes and quality concerns clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
