Nexigen Digital is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join a close, agile team delivering projects and continuous improvements to internal and customer-facing systems. You are passionate about software quality, proactive, and thrive in a collaborative environment where knowledge sharing and development are valued.

Daily work includes testing changes, creating test plans, and mentoring engineers in testing.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in the software development life cycle.
• Extremely detail oriented with ability to identify UX problems.
• Good understanding of software development and programming.
• Curious and able to think outside the box for edge cases.
• Strong problem solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Comfort with Linux environments and SQL queries.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and SOAP Web Services.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly test changes and new features across platforms.
• Create detailed test plans and track outcomes.
• Liaise with developers to fix defects and quality issues.
• Ensure final work meets feature requirements.
• Validate that features and functions work as intended.
• Educate engineers on defects and improve self-testing.
