Job summary

MST Global is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability and release readiness of our software platforms and integrated technology solutions.

You will work with Product Managers, Software Engineers and Technical Leads to identify quality risks early, validate new functionality and continuously improve how our products are designed, tested and released in demanding industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in Software Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering.
• Experience testing enterprise software and integrated hardware solutions.
• Strong experience in Agile development environments.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Exposure to automated testing frameworks, API testing or CI/CD (advantageous).
• Experience in mining, industrial technology or OT environments (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test strategies, plans and test cases for features, releases and regression testing.
• Execute functional, exploratory, regression, integration, usability and automated testing.
• Validate software and hardware solutions against customer requirements and workflows.
• Identify, document and manage defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers and Tech Leads to ensure quality from concept to release.
• Support release readiness by monitoring quality metrics and gates.
• Contribute to automated testing capability and Quality Engineering practices.
• Recommend improvements to testing processes, tools and metrics.
