Job summary

Enertia Talent is seeking a PV Engineer to lead electrical design for commercial and industrial solar PV and BESS projects in Australia. You will drive feasibility, system sizing, and documentation from concept through delivery, while optimizing asset performance and enabling future project growth.

You will collaborate with clients and partners, and mentor junior engineers to raise design standards and execution quality across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 3+ years’ experience in solar PV and BESS engineering and system design.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV, BESS integration and electrical standards.
• Experience with PVsyst and AutoCAD, plus problem solving and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimise solar PV and BESS systems for C&I applications.
• Lead feasibility studies, system sizing, technical specifications and engineering documentation.
• Develop electrical infrastructure designs, SLDs and documentation for project delivery.
• Collaborate with project teams, clients and partners to deliver cost-effective solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and improve design standards and project delivery.

About Your New Role

As a PV Engineer, you will lead the electrical design of commercial and industrial solar PV and BESS projects, from feasibility and system design through to delivery, while helping optimise asset performance and support future project growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimise solar PV and BESS systems for C&I applications.
• Lead feasibility studies, system sizing, technical specifications and engineering documentation.
• Develop electrical infrastructure designs, single-line diagrams (SLDs) and technical documentation to support project delivery.
• Collaborate with project teams, clients and technology partners to deliver quality, cost-effective solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and improve design standards, technical capability and project delivery.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• A Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years’ experience in solar PV & BESS engineering and system design.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV, BESS integration and relevant electrical standards.
• Experience with PVsyst and AutoCAD, alongside strong problem solving and project coordination skills.
