ACE Group, based in Perth, Western Australia, is seeking an experienced Purchasing Officer for the Operations Team. This full-time role combines procurement, supplier management, cost control and stores oversight to support production requirements.

You will report to the Head of Operations and help maintain supply continuity through effective buying, stock control and ERP-executed processes. The position focuses on driving efficiency and ensuring compliant purchasing practices.

Competenze

• Previous experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain administration.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, mining or industrial environments.
• Strong supplier relationship management and negotiation skills.
• Experience using ERP or inventory management systems, with OPTO experience highly regarded.

Mansioni

• Manage day-to-day purchasing activities, including quotations, purchase orders and supplier communications.
• Negotiate supplier pricing, terms and delivery arrangements to achieve competitive commercial outcomes.
• Monitor outstanding orders and coordinate timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier details and transactions within the ERP system.
• Support purchasing cost analysis, supplier performance reviews and cost-saving initiatives.
• Oversee daily stores operations and provide direction to Storepersons.
