Job summary

Back to Sleep is seeking a hands-on Purchasing & Inventory professional to support day-to-day buying and stock management. You will manage POs, coordinate with multiple suppliers, monitor stock, and contribute to forecasts and demand planning.

In this role you will maintain accurate data across products and suppliers, generate Excel-based reports, and drive continuous improvement in stock accuracy within a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing or procurement, inventory control or stock management, supply chain or replenishment planning.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Raise and manage purchase orders across multiple suppliers.
• Liaise with suppliers for all B2B enquiries and requests.
• Monitor stock levels and support inventory replenishment activities.
• Assist with purchasing forecasts and demand planning.
• Track supplier performance & lead times.
• Manage backorders and ensure follow-ups with suppliers are actioned.
• Maintain accurate product, supplier, and inventory data.
• Assist with pricing reviews and updates.
• Generate inventory and purchasing reports using Excel and internal systems.
• Support stock accuracy initiatives and continuous improvement projects.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will support the day-to-day purchasing and inventory activities of the business while helping maintain the accuracy and integrity of inventory systems. This is a hands‑on role that combines purchasing, inventory management, reporting, and supplier coordination. You will be working with a large product portfolio, multiple suppliers, and a fast‑moving operational environment where attention to detail and strong organisational skills are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Raise and manage purchase orders across multiple suppliers
• Liaise with suppliers for all B2B enquiries and requests
• Monitor stock levels and support inventory replenishment activities
