Job summary

National Oilwell Varco (NOV) is seeking a Pump Service Fitter to support NSW operations by performing equipment assessments, repairs, and servicing at in-house workshops and customer sites. You will uphold safety standards, provide accurate job reporting, and work with a team to deliver high-quality, on-time service across our fluid motion solutions portfolio.

The role requires a trade qualification, a valid driver’s licence, forklift licence, and willingness to travel as needed; ISO and OHS

Qualifications

Trade qualification in mechanical or electrical fitting.
Experience with pump and rotating equipment repairs.
Proven ability to report accurately and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

Carry out pump assessments, internal/external repairs, and warranty evaluations.
Ensure quality of completed jobs prior to dispatch.
Operate and maintain service equipment, tools, forklifts, and cranes safely.
Work closely with team members to ensure efficient operations.
Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment.
Follow all NOV safety procedures and company policies.
Provide accurate job reporting and timely communication.
Demonstrate professionalism, technical integrity, and a customer-first attitude.
