Job summary

NOV NSW seeks a Pump Service Fitter to perform pump assessments, repairs, and servicing both in-house and at customer sites, contributing to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction across our fluid motion solutions portfolio.

You will work with the team to ensure timely reporting, operate service equipment safely, and travel as required.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Mechanical or Electrical Fitter
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Forklift Licence
• Confined Space Entry (preferred)
• Disconnect/Reconnect Restricted Electrical (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Carry out pump assessments, internal/external repairs, and warranty evaluations
• Ensure quality of completed jobs prior to dispatch
• Operate and maintain service equipment, tools, forklifts, and cranes safely
• Work closely with team members to ensure efficient operations
• Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment
• Follow all NOV safety procedures and company policies
• Provide accurate job reporting and timely communication
• Demonstrate professionalism, technical integrity, and a customer-first attitude

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out pump assessments, internal/external repairs, and warranty evaluations
• Ensure quality of completed jobs prior to dispatch

Essential Qualifications & Licences

• Trade-qualified Mechanical or Electrical Fitter
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Forklift Licence
• Confined Space Entry (preferred)
• Disconnect/Reconnect Restricted Electrical (preferred)

Experience & Skills

• Proven experience in pump and rotating equipment repairs (including Progressive Cavity Pumps)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure with good time management
• Capable of using service software and internal IT systems
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel when required
