Job summary

Pumps & Irrigation Maryborough & Hervey Bay is seeking a motivated Pump Sales & Service Technician to join our local team. You will diagnose, repair and maintain pumps, advise customers on products, and assist with pump selection and water system design.

In this full-time role you will handle retail sales, stock dispatch, and showroom duties while collaborating with a friendly, family-oriented team. Prior pump experience is preferred and a current driver's licence is required.

Pumps & Irrigation Maryborough & Hervey Bay is looking for a motivated and experienced Pump Sales & Service Technician to join our growing local team. With 25+ years in the industry, we work with homeowners, farmers, commercial businesses, councils and government departments, offering plenty of variety.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Diagnosing, repairing and maintaining pumps
• Providing technical advice and helping customers select the right products
• Assisting with pump selection, flow rates and water system design
• Retail sales and customer service
• Receiving, picking, packing and dispatching stock
• Workshop, warehouse and showroom duties
• Assisting with stock control and inventory
• Working closely with the sales and workshop team

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong knowledge of pumps, flow rates, pressure and system design
• Mechanical aptitude and sound problem-solving skills
• Experience diagnosing and repairing pumps preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good computer skills
• Current manual driver's licence
