Job summary

Luton Bennett is recruiting a Pump Engineer to service and support our diesel, electrical and air-driven pump fleet across customer sites. You will perform mechanical servicing, fault-finding and repairs on rental equipment, with travel involved to client sites and occasional training stays away.

We require pumps maintenance experience and strong mechanical and electrical skills. The role includes installations/de-installs, trailer deliveries, and participation in a rotational call-out rota.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining pumps and rental equipment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical skills are required.
• Previous field service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical servicing of diesel, electrical and air-driven pumps.
• Install and de-install equipment at customer sites.
• Repair and fault-find on rental pump equipment.
• Operate a trailer to deliver equipment when required.

Monday to Friday 40 Hours per Week - 8am Start

Pump Engineer required for a market leading rental company of industrial equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company with an impressive global reputation.

Candidates will need pumps maintenance experience. You will hold both electrical and mechanical experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out mechanical servicing and fault finding on diesel, electrical, and air driven pumps. You will also carry out installs and de-installs of pumps, filtration equipment and tanks at customer sites.

This role will involve travelling to customer sites with travel to Brigg for training. Occasional stay-away may be required, approximately twice a month and you will also be a part of a rotational call-out rota for one week in four, however, most issues can be resolved remotely.

The Pump Engineer Role:

• Mechanical servicing of diesel, electrical and air driven pumps
• Delivery, installation and de-install of equipment
• Repairs on rental equipment
• Driving with a trailer where required to deliver equipment
